The personal information I collect and why I have it
Most of the personal information I process is provided to me directly by you for one of the following reasons:
- For me to send you information or arrange a call you may have requested.
- So that I can contact you about services that may be of interest to you and your employer.
- So that we can work together on agreed projects or contracts.
- So that I can introduce you to someone in my network.
I also receive personal information indirectly, from publicly available online sources like LinkedIn.
This data consists of:
- Identity Data: your first and last name or title.
- Job role: your job title provided or used on LinkedIn.
- Contact Data: your email address, telephone numbers, office address, home address if you provide it (I do not collect this proactively), links to your LinkedIn profile and other social profiles if you use them for business.

If you leave a comment on my site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
The lawful basis for collecting this information
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the lawful bases I rely on for processing this information are:

I will only retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes I collected it for.
In the instance of contact data stored on my phone, this is retained until consent withdrawn.

- Your right to object to processing– You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data.
- Your right to data portability– You have the right to ask that I transfer the personal information you gave me to another organisation, or to you.
- Your right to withdraw consent– When I use consent as our lawful basis you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. If you make a request, we must respond to you without undue delay and in any event within one month.
